In this episode of the The LAB, we spend time with Chris “The Professor” Moye.
Lancor has placed dozens of CTOs into private equity portfolio assets and many of them use the work Chris created when he leveraged his experiences at McKinsey to help IBM develop transformation playbooks. He has then brought these experiences to multiple PE backed companies at the CEO.
We talk to Chris about how to determine the right transformation framework to diligence an asset, appreciate the “lift” that will be required to achieve the transformation and then constantly tweaking the plan for transformational growth once you own the company. This last piece is often neglected and Chris walks through how to make sure there is a consistent and honest evaluation on the plan and the need to pivot.
